GODHITECH ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our PixBaby iOS mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

PixBaby is a photo editing application for iPhone and iPad that lets you create photo collages, apply frames, stickers, and backdrops, and use AI-powered features such as background removal, AI image generation, and AI video generation. We understand that when you use our Service, you may entrust us with personal information and visual content—including photos of children—and we take this responsibility seriously. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information We may collect information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address if you contact support or submit feedback. If you sign in using third-party services (Apple/Google), we may receive basic profile information allowed by your settings. We do not require an account to use core editing features.

1.2 Visual Content and Face Data As a photo editing application with AI features, PixBaby processes the visual content you choose to import or create, including photographs and images.

  • Photos and Media: When you select images from your Photo Library, create collages, or use editing tools, that content is processed to provide the features you request.

  • Face Data Collection: When you upload or edit content that contains faces, we may analyze images to detect faces and facial landmarks (such as eyes, nose, and mouth positioning) where required for certain AI effects, filters, or transformations.

  • Purpose: This analysis is used only to apply the editing and AI features you request, such as background removal, collage layout, stickers, frames, backdrops, AI image generation, or AI video generation.

  • Processing: When you use AI features that require server processing, your photos may be transferred securely and encrypted to our servers for processing.

  • No Biometric Identification: We use this data for creative and editing purposes only. We do not use face data to identify you or any other person personally, and we do not use it for authentication purposes (e.g., Face ID).

1.3 Permissions We Use (iOS)

We request the following iOS permissions only when needed for a feature you use:

  • Photo Library (Read): Required to let you choose photos from your library for editing, collages, frames, stickers, and AI features.
  • Photo Library (Add / Save): Required to save edited photos and videos to your library when you choose to download them.
  • Notifications: Optional. Used to send you updates about AI generation results, reminders, or app updates if you grant permission.
  • Network Access: Required to use AI features, load templates, restore purchases, and send crash or analytics data.

We do not request Camera, Microphone, or App Tracking (IDFA) access. The iOS version does not show advertisements. Data accessed through these permissions is not collected on our servers or shared with third parties unless you actively use a feature that requires server-side AI processing, analytics, or support. Locally cached and saved content remains on your device.

1.4 Device and Technical Information We automatically collect technical information including device type, operating system version, IP address, app version, crash reports, and app usage statistics (e.g., session duration, feature usage). This helps us improve app stability and performance.

1.5 Purchase Information If you subscribe or make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the payment. We receive a non-sensitive transaction status (for example, whether a subscription is active) so we can unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your full Apple ID password, credit card number, or billing address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

2.1 Service Provision: To provide photo collage, framing, sticker, backdrop, and AI editing features you request. Your visual content is processed by our algorithms and tools to generate the final photo or video output.

2.2 Local Functionality: To cache assets, store drafts, and save exported images to your device when you choose to do so.

2.3 Improvement: To analyze usage trends and crash data to fix bugs and improve app performance and AI features.

2.4 Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, feedback, and technical issues.

2.5 Communications: To send optional push notifications about AI results, app updates, or features, if you have granted notification permission.

2.6 Subscriptions: To restore and validate Apple In-App Purchases and provide paid features.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 No Sale of Data We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, photos, videos, or face data to third parties.

3.2 Service Providers We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • AI processing: When you use AI features (background removal, AI image generation, or AI video generation), photos are uploaded to our servers to generate the requested result. We do not use those photos for any other purpose.

If you share a photo or video through the iOS share sheet (for example, to Messages, WhatsApp, or Instagram), that content is sent by you to the destination app. Those apps are governed by their own privacy policies.

3.3 Legal Requirements We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Visual Content

Local Content: Photos, collages, drafts, and cached files stored on your device remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Server-Processed Content: When you use AI features that require server processing, the photos you upload are processed to generate the requested result. Original source files used for AI processing are deleted from our processing servers once processing is complete, unless a longer retention period is required to deliver the feature you requested.

Generated Content: Final AI-generated images or videos may be retained on our servers for a limited period (up to 30 days) to allow you to download or retrieve them. You can delete this content at any time via the app where available.

5.2 Usage Data We retain anonymized usage data (non-personal) for as long as necessary to improve our product.

5.3 Purchase Records Apple retains purchase records according to Apple’s policies. We keep only the subscription status needed to provide paid features.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request the deletion of your data by contacting us at [email protected].

You can also manage permissions at any time in iOS Settings:

  • Photos: Settings → PixBaby → Photos
  • Notifications: Settings → PixBaby → Notifications
  • Subscriptions: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

If you are a resident of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection to certain processing.

If you are a California resident, you may exercise rights provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended to be used by parents, guardians, or other adults who create and edit photos. The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) and is not a “Kids” app under the Apple App Store.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you use the Service to edit photos that include children, you represent that you are the parent or guardian, or that you have the right and authority to do so.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
